If I try to shut the printer down, the power button won't do it. It says Printer Shutting Down, but never does. I finally have to pull the power plug. When I restore power, everything is back to normal and I can print another page, but the process starts all over again. I have repeated the entire scenario 3 times, with exactly the same results. This printer is less than 10 years old. Have they really obsoleted a high level printer the soon by not providing updated drivers??

It is saying there is a error with the printer. I have reset it many time but I am having the same problem. This is a elite printer and do not appreciate having this problem after updating my laptop.
I hope you have a solution for this problem. I was able to get 1 sheet to print tonight on my brand new windows 11 alienware R5 but then it went into error mode. Restarted the printer and still giving me the error.
I tried yesterday and it was all errors. I installed the HP software which did a diagnostic and found nothing wrong. Do we not have a fix for windows 11 computers yet? I'm thinking they don't have a fix. I tried updating the driver for my HP for Windows No go. Install issues then back quality prints. All indications say it's connected and everything is okay.
